Moon Jar
This rounded vase was inspired by the aesthetic principles of Shibusa, an experience of tranquil beauty through unobtrusive decoration and economy of form and line; a refined understatement that encourages focus and calm. It was hand-thrown and trimmed on the wheel in white, speckled stoneware and is fully functional as a vase or simply as a decorative piece for a desk or sideboard.
