To preserve the quality and longevity of your ceramics, please handle them with care and adhere to our recommended usage guidelines. Every piece of pottery is individually designed and crafted by me, making each item truly unique. There may be slight variations in colour, shape and size, which are natural and add to the distinct charm of the piece.

Handling

While my ceramics are crafted with durability in mind, it's important to remember that they are still pottery and can be fragile. These items, though designed to be sturdy, are not indestructible and can break if mishandled. To prevent accidental damage, please handle your ceramics with care. Treat them gently to enjoy their beauty and functionality for years to come.

Recommended Washing Methods

All functional ware is dishwasher safe but it is highly recommended that they are hand-washed for the best care to prevent any harm over time. For all items with organic features such as wooden handles, woven reeds, or delicate metal elements, hand washing is advised to maintain their texture and durability. When hand washing, use a soft brush and a gentle soap, always avoiding abrasive products that may scratch or chip your piece. Eco-friendly detergents are always best to help extend the life of your ceramics.

Food Safety

All pieces are meticulously crafted to be food safe and free of lead, meeting the highest standards of quality and safety. Each piece is made with non-toxic materials, ensuring they are safe for everyday use in your kitchen. All wooden elements are treated with Danish oil for protection. Pieces with unglazes surfaces and exteriors are tested for porosity and are not a safety issue, but may prove harder to clean. Please note that unglazed surfaces may also show signs of use over time but this does not affect their safety or functionality.

Shipping

I take great care in packaging my ceramics to prevent damage in transit and, as a result, it may take some time to prepare your order. Generally, orders are shipped within 3 business days once payment has been approved. Shipping rates vary depending on destination and due to international shipping costs, I would recommend larger orders for best value for money.
